Serial number doesn't match

Hi,

 

I am trying to load a new myob accountright file from my library to online. When I access the file and select go online upload file a message pops up and says the serial number doesn't match your account and suggests I change the serial number.

Can someone please help me.

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge

 

When uploading a company file to the cloud you do need to be the AccountRight Live Owner of that serial number. If you are not the AccountRight Live Owner it will prompt you to change the serial number to a serial number that you are the AccountRight Live Owner for.

 

In your case, as you are on multiple accounts it is hard to determine which serial number may be in the company file and thus who the current AccountRight Live Owner of that serial number would be. If you would like to send me a private message on the Forum with the serial number in the file I would be happy to have a closer look at the account to determine the AccountRight Live Owner.
