2019.4 upgrade unsuccessful

I have 2 files which i have tried to install upgrade 2019.4

One has worked successfully but the second will not complete the upgrade after approx 2 hours.

I can't use that file now.

Are you getting any error messages? If so, are you able to provide screenshots.   This support note, Installation Troubleshooting, has information on error messages and other troubleshooting steps.

No error messages Tracey, it just hangs in "upgrading" mode

Can you please try logging out of that company file and loggin back in, it should be working now.

No sorry Tracey, file is still upgrading. It keeps offerring to upgrade to new version and if selected again message advises upgrade is still in progress.
