Exporting to excel

Hi, 

 

I am having a problem exporting any reports to excel.  The excel button is green, which leads me to believe that MYOB is recognising excel.  However when I click on export to excel it thinks for a while and then no luck.  I have excel 2016 and I run windows 7 and I'm running MYOB as administrator. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @AustMech,

 

Generally this can happen when some background settings have either broken or been reconfigured. I would recommend checking out @Tingety's reply to another User who had similar issues:

 

Can't export to Excel since upgrading (click here)

 

This has been able to solve another User's troubles and may prove useful to you as well.

Hi  @AustMech

 

One thing to check, just to rule it out would be to close all other programs. This would include any security programs, such as an antivirus program. In some cases these programs can interfere with the transmission of data between AccountRight and Excel and prevent Excel from receiving the information as you expect.
