Hi i use MYOB Accountright online.
I am finding recently that it is very slow, when trying to do a sale it can take as long as 90 seconds from the screen to come up.
Unrelated i have a issue where some quotes get created and then crash when trying to convert to a sale.
i have done a speed test and we have a download of 99Mbps and upload of 36Mbps. I have followed all their steps for increasing speed and it has made no difference. Even tried it at home on a different computer, same result.
Any ideas? i remember in older versions of MYOB you can optimise your file, doesnt seem to be a option here?

Many users are reporting more than the usual slowness, esp since most recent update. I suspect partly due to MYOB's servers not up to the task with most users now online. The issue is not your internet speed.
See my post here about updating timeout extender and ensuring each new version installed is excluded from anti-virus/protection scans as this can slow the new update. Each update is treated as a separate file. With MYOB now rolling these out every month, I hope they find a way to prevent users needing to re-apply things like timeout extenders and exceptions to anti virus software, or atleast clearly remind users to do this.
AR2021 does not have an Optimise function. The closest thing is when you backup your online file, MYOB takes the file through a partial 'rebuild', the file is compacted and reindexed, similar to Optimising, however not as effective in improving performance. When no-one is using the file, perhaps try a backup and the restore that backup online - see if that makes any difference.

We are aware that some users are currently experiencing performance issues and time out errors, this is being investigated as a priority by our developers.
In the meantime, taking your file offline then restoring it online has resolved the issue for some users and may be worth a try. Make sure you do a back up before you try this.

Honestly, it takes up too much of my time - do everything - speed test is 100mp/40mp
Also due to not having orders, bank reconciliations are useless
this needs fixing and I have to stick with Desktop or I won't get my work done in a day.
