AR P & L reports

Hi

Have a client that is trying to run a Profit and Loss with last year or last year anylsis. The only option to change is the months reported ( eg July to June). When it is run, it comes up with a couple of days transactions in July, against last year full year.

Using version 2019.2.1 and current financial year is set as 2019.

Running the report shows dates as July 2019 to June 2020.

Client wants this year showing as 2019, with last year as 2018.

Has the ability to select the year been removed?

Lorraine

@lorrainea

Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find plenty of useful information.

I just tried to run the report and the first time I did the date were July to July and I got the 2019 to 2020 year, the same as you.

However I reset the dates to July to June and got the following:

Thankyou for your reply.

Unfortunately that didn't work for me.

Screenshots attached in the order I tried to change the dates.

July to June - came up with July 2019 to June 2020

June to June - came up with June 2020

Re: AR P & L reports

I'm not sure if you have fixed this but I found that if you choose a different Accounts report for the correct dates and then go back to this report it may bring up the correct dates.

Re: AR P & L reports

Thank you.

I've just tried it and it seemed to work.

Ran a P & L with last year (July to June) came up with this year as 2020.

Ran a normal P & L with this year as 2019 - worked ok

Ran a P & L with last year ( July to June) and came up with this year as 2019. So it looks good.

Re: AR P & L reports

It's a bit frustrating that something so basic is made so hard. It's why I have stuck to the Classic v19 - it just works as it should! Glad I could help.
