Connection time out

I'm getting a timeout message when I'm receiving payments  in Accountright, specifically choosing 'Contra Account' as the 'Deposit to Account'.  I have taken the following measures;

Shut down and restarted MYOB

Restarted computer

Checked the version was up to date

Checked my internet speed (I'm in USA, my download speed is INCREDIBLE)

Tried a different way - I can receive payments when I do it through 'get statement' in 'Reconcile Accounts' 'open receive payments', and have the 'deposit to account' selected to the normal bank account, but not when I select 'Contra account'.

Am I missing something?

Can you please confirm if the Contra account is also used as a linked account for some other types of payments?

This can be checked by going to Setup>>Linked Accounts>>Sales Accounts. If yes, what happens when you change that linked account to something else?

 
If it still gives you the error message, please send me the screenshot of sales linked accounts so we can investigate what else might be causing it.

Thank you for your response. It is not used as a linked account. I have used it for the past 2.5 years without issue, weird that suddenly it won't work.

Hi @PNPTrading 

This is bit odd. In order to test what might be breaking it, can you try depositing or withdrawing money out of the contra account on any other window and check if that's working.


If your file is online, please try to restore it locally and test if it works that way. If that fails, please send me your serial number by a Private Message as we may have to get your file in to figure out the problem.
