Customer name missing in importlog report

Customer name missing in importlog report

Since installing the new AccountRight Update our Customer name has been replaced by a number in the importlog.

Is there a way to get the Customer name to show up please?

Hi @VirginiaM 

 

This is a new bug in AR2020.1 that MYOB are aware of. The import log shows the Record ID of the various fields instead of the actual value. There is no practical workaround for the import log. You will need to wait until AR2020.2, that is if MYOB deem this bug is important enough to fix in the next release, otherwise as with many other bugs, you may need to wait longer.

 

The non practical workaround would be to export Customers, move some columns around and then use vlookup in excel to update the import log from the Customer Name in the export file. Reasonably complicated but can be done, though if you may need someone with excel skills to assist.
