Hi
I would like to know how I can customise the Receipts form, and any other forms affected to reflect the Date Format that we use in our Country. At the moment, when a Receipt is printed, it shows the Receipt Date, and also has a column further down which has the heading of "INV DATE/ACCT NAME". However, the Date in that column is the format used in the US, which is month/day/year, whereas we want it to display day/month/year. Many thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Hi @Dunners
Thanks for your post. We are aware of an issue where the date format on printed receipts is displaying in US format. Unfortunately I don't have a timeframe for when this will be resolved.
This help article has further information that you may find useful: Change the date format
Please let me know if you need further help.

This error has been going on for several years now. There are posts from 2018 with the same problem. There was a workaround where you would checkout the file and this solved the problem. However, with version 2020.2 checkout is no longer available.
I am in a situation now where I need to provide receipts to a client who is claiming costs against a Government Grant. They will not accept the receipts as the date format is not correct and in some instances it looks like the date is a future date.
We need an immediate fix for this as it is affecting out ability to do business with our customers.

Hi @mae
Unfortunately, at this stage I am not able to give a timeframe for when this will be resolved. The current workaround is to take your file offline to print those receipts. You can take your file offline by taking a back up and then restoring it to the desktop. When you are ready to put your file back online, you can restore it online.
We do apologise for the inconvenience caused.
Cheers,
Tracey

This is not an acceptable solution. At the moment I am needing to generate receipts just about everyday. I don't have the time to keep restroing copies of my file to print out a receipt with the correct date format.
It's pretty poor form that this type of problem has been going on for years and no fix has been implemented.
I'm probably looking for a good reason not move to another software package as this is just one of many bugs in MYOB.
Please pass this feedback to your CEO - Greg Ellis and Chief Technology Officer - Darren Smith.
