Different Values Shown on Journal to Transactions

Hi Community, 

I'm trying to balance my accounts and have noticed that some transactions are appearing differently in the journal vs. how the transactions have been entered. This is not a GST difference. 

For example:

Account 5-0300 Manufacturing Costs (Under COGS)

Purchase appears in the Debit column as $495.94

Corresponding Inventory Asset appears in Credit column as $551.04

When you click into the above Purchase, the transaction is equal to the $551.04 as would be expected. As mentioned, this is not reflected in the journal. 

We are currently running MYOB 2019.4 SE.

How can we ensure that the correct value is relfected in the journal, as it is subsequently affecting our financial reports?

Hi @user2020 , I can't see your screenshots, but I have come across similar behaviour. Are you using purchase orders and received items? Can you write down the whole journal/s?

Hi @user2020 , I shouldn't have used the words "write down", which has an unintended accounting meaning. I meant transcribe the lines to text so I could see all the line entries. MYOB have approved the images, but you did not provide the whole journal. Can you attach an image file of the journal showing all its transaction lines?
