I want to start using the Stock Alerts in the todo list. I haven't really looked at it before.
I have a bunch of things I need to order and thought I would generate the list from the Todo list. But the very first item I need to order isn't on the list (don't know about the rest yet).
This item has a minimum level for restocking alert set at 1 and a default reorder qty of 1 (I have since bumped it up to Minimum of 2 and default qty to 6).
I have 2 items in stock of this item, and no purchase orders with that item, and none are committed/not involved in auto build either.
It isn't showing on the stock alert.
I am running AccountRight 2020.1.x
Why would that be the case?
Thank you.

Hi @doublet
Thanks for your post. An alert will appear in the To Do List when the available quantity of an item falls below the minimum level you have set. So if your available quantity is 2 and the minimum level is 2, you wouldn't see that stock alert until the available quantity dropped to 1.
The available quantity is the on-hand quantity plus the quantity recorded on purchase orders less the quantity recorded on sales orders.
Please let me know if you need further help.
