Unable to Edit Imported Purchase/Sale

We have just started using Account Right Premier 2019.3.0. We use another program to handle our manufacture, sales and raw material purchses and then we import to MYOB. I used to be able to edit these purcahses or sales once they were imported to MYOB but find I cannot do it with this new program. It is important I am able to do this.  Does anyone know how I can set up to do this?

thanks

Re: Unable to Edit Imported Purchase/Sale

Hi @Neane123

From an AccountRight point of view, generally transactions would not be able to be changed if one of the following conditions were true:

  • The transaction has been recorded in a previously closed financial year
  • Setup>>Preferences>>Secruity - Transactions can't be changed they must be reversed is enabled
  • Your user access role restricts access to be read-only within those windows

Note: As the data is coming from a third party program, additional factors may also need to be considered that could prevent that information from being updated with respect to the third-party program directly.

Kind regards,
Steven

Re: Unable to Edit Imported Purchase/Sale

Thank you for your reply.

None of the three options apply to my situation, however I have noticed that it is only one purchase I cant edit, all others I seem to be able to. I have just entered a seperate purchse in MYOB to take care of what I needed to edit.
