Hello,
I am having an issue where MYOB is crashing when sending multiple emails. The first email sends fine, but the second one causes MYOB to crash (not responding). This used to be the case with v19 and Outlook 2016, but it this bug has been fixed since. I have tested with Outlook 2010 and there is no issue.
MYOB: v19.13 Australia Release Version 19.13.0, Release 19.13.0A M-Powered Version 3.0.3
Windows: Windows 10 Pro Version 1607 (Build 14393.321)
Office: 2016 Version 1609 (Build 7369.2038)
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Scott Brooks

Hi @ScottBrooks
The crashing of AccountRight v19.13 with the use of Outlook 2016 after selecting multiple emails is something that we are investigating in more detail.
A potential workaround can be to navigate to the C:/PremierClassic folder and rename the MapiEX Disable.txt file to be MapiEx DisableOLD.txt and then restart AccountRight before emailing a test.
Do let us know how you get on and if you require further assistance.

The workaround is a potential workaround it may not work in all systems and setups. As mentioned this is something that we are currently investigating so we can pass on some further information to the team can you indicate:

Not again.
Like most users we are frustrated. It is end of month and cannot email multiple invoices or remittance advices from Outlook 2016.
How long this time til we have a fix for this?

Hi @Krystle
Welcome to the MYOB Community Forum, I hope you find it a wealth of knowledge
At this stage we don't have a timeframe for when this particular situation will be resolved with AccountRight v19.13. However I would recommend trying the workaround provided above in most cases I have come across this does work.
Please make sure that you are adjusting the MapiEX Disable.txt file in the <programlevel>Classic folder i.e. PremierClassic rather that <programlevel>v19 folder i.e Premierv19.

None of these suggestions have worked for me. I am working a a new PC with only PLus Classic loaded at the moment, so no opportunity to move back to previous version. This needs fixing fast, it seems to be happening evrytime you upgrade the software.

Whilst amending the mapi file as suggested allows the emails to be sent.
Have sent 60 customer statements, and so far I have 3 who couldn't open the file.
2 customers with @bigpond.net.au email address who got their file as a winmail and won't open and 1 customer with a @people.net.au email address that says no attachment.
I hope I don't have to print & scan the other 57 as well.
Waiting for a fix asap....

Hi Krystal, some of my Clients experienced the same problem last time MYOB had issues with Outlook 2016. Those on PC were able to right click on the Outlook attachment within the email then choose Open and it generally worked. Mac users weren't so lucky.
Steven, your renaming of the txt file worked for me.
Cheers,
Bronwyn
