Sick Leave Accrual

We have an employee who is currently on Workers Compensation and has been since last financial year.  He is not accruing sick leave whilst incapacitated for work.  Unfortunately this seems to have removed the leave balance from previous financial years from showing on his payslip. Is there a way to reinstate this? I have ticked both the print on pay advice and carry remaining entitlement over to the next year boxes within the entitlement information.

Re: Sick Leave Accrual

Hi @Terissa

Thank you very much for posting on the MYOB Community Forum.

Unfortunately sick leave YTD balances will not show on the payslip unless there has been an amount accrued to it in the current payroll year. The workaround here is to post a small amount (say 0.01 hrs) against the payroll category using the Process Payroll screen. This can even be reversed immediately, the important part is that the category has been posted to using the Process Payroll system, so the system will then correctly display these amounts on payslips. After the amount has been posted it should show up on the employees payslips.

Please do let me know if you need any further help at all.

Kind Regards,
