The 2019 Tax Table updates are now available for all of our payroll products!

You'll need to install this update and load the new tax tables before processing your first pay in July.

Your 2018/2019 compliance update isn’t available yet as the Student Loan Sustainability Bill, which affects HELP repayments in your tax tables, is still before the Senate.

We’ll keep you informed via this post, when your update is ready in time for the new financial year.

Hi all,

The Sustainability Bill is still before the Senate, with the current sitting ending on the 28th of June. If the Bill is not passed in this sitting, the Omnibus Bill will take precedence.

The Sustainability Bill: Reduces the minimum repayment rates and thresholds, and adds additional ones thresholds and rates at the higher end of the scale. You’re able to track the bill here.

The Omnibus Bill: Introduces a new lower minimum repayment rate and threshold for all HELP debts.

We’ll notify you once it’s ready in time for the new financial year.

For those of you following along at home, even though the Sustainability Bill was on the agenda for the Senate, it wasn’t discussed on their final day of sitting. The Omnibus Bill has taken precedence, which is what’s included in your tax tables.
