REPORTING LONG SERVICE LEAVE ON PAYMENT SUMMARIES

I am using AccountEdge

How do I report long service leave on termination on the "payment summary".  I have tried to put it in  "Lump Sum Payments" however cannot put a description in as it is greyed out.  I have linked the payroll category to "Lump Sum Payments B" but cannot put in the description.  Impossible to get onto the support line

Hi @bossy2

I would recommend speaking with an accountant or the ATO in regards to information as to which payment summary field should be used for Long Service Leave payments. However, that being said, looking at the ATO website - Termination Payments for employees - Your payment summaries and tax return generally that will need to be included as Lump Sum A or B. 

You also mentioned the description field for those Lump Sum payment summaries, these are locked and not able to be changed in accordance with the ATO instructions.
