AccountEdge is not optimised for your Mac

When installing AccountEdge Pro on MacOS High Sierra 10.13 or Mojave 10.14, the following message appears:


What's the Cause?:


Apple announced that MacOS Mojave 10.14 will support 32 bit applications with potential compromise and that the following MacOS version (suspected launch date in 2019) will be 64-bit only. This will affect all Mac software.

What is MYOB doing to fix this?:


This is purely a message designed by Apple to advise the User that you are using a 32-bit application on the Mac. You can simply click OK to skip the message and continue to use AccountEdge for now. In the long-run MYOB is working with the 3rd party provider of AccountEdge, Priority, to ensure that AccountEdge is ready for the new range of 64-bit only OS X releases. Once we have a 64-bit ready release of AccountEdge, all paying users will be by email and an In-Product Message. If you are not subscribed, you can look into your Upgrade Options by entering your Serial Number on our Upgrade Check page for Australia and New Zealand
