Double up of a bank transactions - how to delete?

I have a double up of the same transaction (purchase made )  for $37.12 on the same date for the same place. I have tried to delete the qif file and re upload but the transaction is still showing twice on my bank feed.

I can't delete either of them as it dosent look like an option. I emailed banks feeds and they said they cant help as its a uploaded bank file ( and to delete and re upload the file - which I did). Trying to put a call through to the help line has a wait of over an hour.  Can anyone help?

Hi @RUNCO 

 

You mentioned that you deleted the bank file and re-uploaded it, did you actually make any changes to the file prior to re-upload? As if the file contains the transaction in that import file and you re-upload it, you are just going to re-upload the transaction again. 

You likely want to regenerate that file again this time excluding that transaction. Alternatively, open that bank statement file in Notepad (or a similar product) and remove that transaction from the import file. If a QIF file, you want to remove the section highlighted in blue for that transaction:
