ESSENTIALS INTERGRATION and invoice links are all broken

If You are after easy intergration with Invoice importing from supplier to Essentials then do not use this software,

Does not also work with Sm8, Tradezquote etc - MYOB after the 5 hour phone calls twice are still trying to blame the other APPS,  this is a snipit from Tradezquote -- An error occurred while trying to retrieve details. Error retrieving businesses: Unauthorized. {"errors":[{"field":"","message":"Invalid authentication token.","code":"401"}]}

Which shows that it is the authentication screen in MYOB Essential is broken - with linking invoices in Essentials they both say cannot find business, but once again MYOB "HELP" centre is blaming the other venders.

I have lnked My Essentials Business sofware to Sm8 using the choice of Accountright in Sm8, So if essentials was actually working then this option link should not work??

So hopefully this will get MYOB moving expecially with E invoicing coming this link that is broken in Essentials needs to be fixed

Sorry to see that no one has replied to you yet. Having a look at the ServiceM8 website, there is a support note which explains how to resolve the 'invalid authenication token' error when integrating with MYOB Essentials. ServiceM8's instructions are to restart the wizard and select AccountRight, not Essentials.


You would need to speak to ServiceM8 to find out why their link to MYOB Essentials is not working for you. However, it may have something to do with the version of MYOB Essentials you are using. The original version of Essentials is a different platform than the newer version and the newer version has more features in common with AccountRight so may be an explanation for why choosing AccountRight works. Although, you would need to speak to ServiceM8 for clarification on this.


You will also need to contact the other Third-party applications for assistance with integrating with your Essentials software. Again, it may be related to the change from the original MYOB Essentials to the newer platform and how those applications are handling the change in MYOB software.
