I just reveived an email stating the following and I really need help in understanding it,
We recently sent you an email regarding updates to your MYOB Online Invoice Payments service, also known as the green, Pay Now button on your online invoices.
We are working to ensure your experience with this service not only helps your business get paid faster but that it is highly secure, reliable, and compliant for your business and your customers.
To meet our compliance measures so your business can continue to use the Online Invoice Payments service, we need you to supply additional business and identification documentation.
it then says the following...

We have completed a review of the details currently held for your business's subscription with MYOB and from this we have a list below of what documents we require to check off for compliance.
For us to understand your business better, please answer the following questions in relation to the utilisation of the Invoice Payments facility: |
I understand the requirement for official company documents like abn register etc, but in the above I don't see a request for any legal documentation. It all seems like nothing more than data collecting.
If someone can enlighten me with actual government documentation stating that I must give MYOB a photo of my shop or business card, and give a detailed description of my business, it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sam,
Thanks for the link, I didn't see that when searching for related posts, but it doesn't answer the question.
I found the following link on this from MYOB...

But it does not talk about needing to provide a business description and photos of shopfront etc, which I can not see being a requirement for my accouting software.
So I'll ask again, can someone enlighten me with actual government documentation stating that I must give MYOB a photo of my shop or business card, and give a detailed description of my business?
