Just curious if anyone has had this issue?

 

We are on the cloud/ business pro - just recently migrated from Accountright Edge NE...

By the way  NOT a fan of the new software .

 

I am trying ot create a genral jounral entry from a recurring transaction in my list and it wont let me "record " it ...

 

When i select Accounting/ recurring - I can see my recurring trsnaction .

When i clikck into it I can update it  and save it - which updates the recurring transaction template, but there is no where can i turn this into a active genreral journal.?

 

After 2 hours on various holds on the support line AND an oustanding callback request that is more than 24 hours old I am not sure what to do ..

 

We are using Mac / Chrome as the browser, latest operating system.

 

Also, if i try and do it by Accountring / Create general journal ( where you would instinctively go)  I CAN record a new GJ but cant access my recurring ones ( no prefill from recurring button like in Bills / sales ) to access the recurring template..

 

SOOOOOOO frustrating..

 

Any help / ideas or common experience would be appreciated.

Hi @KMIC 

 

Thank you for the information and sorry to hear about the frustration you had. 

 

Normally you'd go to Accounting > Create general journal > Prefill from recurring then select your saved template, however, currently the 'Prefill from recurring' button isn't showing in this window. This is something we've passed to the developer to look into and rectify as soon as possible.
