unable to process payroll Sept 30th 2021

i cannot process my wage to stp reporting stating employee payment template hourly wages ling entitlement payroll category missing .Can anyone help

MYOB Essentials new payroll

I am unable to process my wages to single touch payroll as the template hourly wages line is missing. Can any one help

Thanks for your post. That error message is due to one or more wage items is linked to multiple leave pay items. For example the “Leave” pay item is linked to both the leave items “Annual leave” and “Extra leave”. You will need to ensure that each pay item is only linked to one leave item.

Tracey ,That is not the solution to this problem as multiple wage items are not linked to multiple leave items in this case .I need further help

Myob payroll team member Kishore helped with this problem through team viewer thanks Tracey and yes it was in fact that the wage item was attached to two leave items that had been duplicated in the upgrade.

So relieved to have solved the problem.

Hi @RickyJ 

 

Go to Payroll>>Pay items>>Leave tab>>open each leave pay item and check the wage pay items selected in Link wage pay item. The wage pay item can only be selected for one leave pay item. For example: the wage item Annual leave has been selected for the Annual leave accrual leave item so it can't be selected for any other leave pay item. Click on the cross to unlink the wage item.

Hi

Yes when they updated my myob essentials file they duplicated the items linked to annual leave but named them differently so I didn’t know they were duplicated items.
This was rectified when myob logged in to help.
