Authenticator

Hi when I try to login to the authenticator it ask me for my key. What would that be?

As the Google Authenticator doesn’t feature any sort of logging in type window, are you able to clarify the authenticator your using, as well as what you are trying to do?

 

If you are trying to setup app based authentication then you do need to use the QR code generated by the security centre. Step 4 on the section “To Switch from email to app 2FA” on our help article Changing your two-factor authentication method steps through how to use the QR code to setup the app based 2FA
