Keep getting logged out of MYOB Essentials

I keep being logged out of MYOB esentials - about every 20 minutes or so.

 

This is very frustrating. i have the stay logged in for 12 hours box ticked and i am actively using MYOB when i am being logged out.

 

Has been happening for the past 2 days.

 

Has anyone else experiened the same problem?

Yes this is happening to me all the time, I am new to MYOB and am finding this very frustrating.  Half way through entereing something and you have to start again.

This is something that has been noticed recently and has been passed on to the product development team to get it fixed at the earliest. We will post an update as soon as it is resolved.

Hi @Sandy37 , @Caseyw , @Marc-H , @ANNETTE1967 

 

It has been recently identified that the issue of logging out of Essentials is due to a new update of Google Chrome released in February and for some users in March, which blocks cookies associated with cross-site resources. Other browsers may have this feature turned on too.

 

In order to resolve it, the flags related to these cookies have to be manually disabled by following the given steps:
1.    Open Google Chrome
2.    Type chrome://flags/ in your address bar
3.    Find following flags and disable those:

  • SameSite by default cookies
  • Cookies without SameSite must be secure

Once it's done, relaunch Google Chrome and login to Essentials again.
