STP PAYROLL - SENDING A REPORT TO ATO FROM JULY 1 - SEPT 24, 2019

Hi there i have just setup STP for ATO so all good to go BUT when i spoke to to ATO they told me i need to send a report to them from JULY 1 this year up until sept 24 (last pay date) so they know how much we have paid out YTD.

I am not sure how to do this does anyone know?

Thank youo kindly Anna Abel

HI @ABEL

You would need to create an update event in your company file and report this. When you do it will send through the YTD figures for each employee in the update event. Update events are created when a pay is recorded within the file.

If you didn’t have a pay coming up in the next few days you could record a zero dollar pay for each employee. This creates the update event which will allow you to report the YTD figures to the ATO

Neil
