STP - multiple pay items

Hi

 

We have 1 employee with multiple hourly rates - his normal hourly rate is included on the employee details page:

 

Pay details

 
Tax file number: xxx xxx xxx
 
 
Waiting on TFN declaration
Employee is under 18
Employee has no TFN or other reason
Not sure which to choose? Visit the ATO website.
 
Employee is paid an:

Think you have the right ideas/information.

 

A Pay item is technically an additional earning or deduction added to that employee. The "Pay Item" Normal while is an earning is not a true earning and thus doesn't appear with the other earnings. It is the rate that is assigned to all employees to process their normal pay amount.

 

For payroll reporting the Normal "Pay Item" will be automatically set to appear as part of Gross payments.
