Hi,
One thing i would like to see is the Reporting Periods changed to include "Year To Date".
My preference would be, Monthly, Quarterly and Year to Date.

Hi Graeme,
Thanks for your input here. Would you be able to elaborate on the way you’d see yourself using a YTD period?
The reasons I ask are:
Please have a bit of a play with how that period drop-down impacts the report itself and let us know where you feel there are gaps between what it offers now and what you’d like at hand to advise your clients about their business performance.

I see the Advisor as a way to help my clients understand their business better and as a reporting tool.
To that end if I want to discus a month, quarter, or a six month period then the ONLY items I need are those items reltaing to those periods.
I do not need YTD figures when looking a the Sept to Dec period just the Sept to Dec figures.
Yes I need to be able to compare them with Last year and Budget but I don't need july to Dec figures.
So rather than a YTD option what I would really like is a from date and a to date option.
That way I can set the period for the reports and could also do YTD if wanted.
The current one month, two month and quarter is just not suitable at all and I don't know of anyone that would use the 2 month option.

Hi I agree with Graeme
Monthly Quarterly and YearToDate(YTD)
As a consultant/trainer/bookkeepr I am facilitating a meeting between my client and their accountant next week and this often happens annually after the March quarter BAS and informs a tax planning meeting before the end of the financil year when we have 9 months of data which provides a good trajectory for EOY position
Thanks
Geoffrey
