We are unable to backup our MYOB to our network or local drive .
We found a post relating to this, has there been a fix for this as yet?
you should be able to backup to your local drive.
are you talking about when you're using the file stored on another computer and you try and take a backup?
When I'm backing up it hangs and doesn't complete the backup to our network drive.
It always did in previous versions of Accountright.
When taking a backup of the company file in AccountRight 2018 you will go to File>>Backup. Ideally, we do recommend backing up the company file to the local machine. If it does need to be on another computer/device you would be copying that backup through Windows Explorer after creating.
I should also mention that with backups of AccountRight it can appear that the backup process is not working. This is due to the backup progress bar and the way the program does backup files. Typically, the progress bar will race along and then stop for a period of time before progressing further. We do recommend just being patient and waiting for that backup to be completed.
If you are finding that the backup is taking an extended period of time you might like to ensure that you don't have any other programs running. Some clients have also found some success in temporarily disabling their antivirus/firewall and/or checking out their file.
