Migration from Pheonix

Hey team,

Has anyone tried to migrate from Phoenix to AccountRight Live/Essentials, does anyone know if this can be done?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: Migration from Reckon

Hi @sholt73 , apologies on the mistake on the title. Yes I am looking for assistance on migrating from Pheonix to myob. What comes across and the steps required to make it happen if known of course?

Re: Migration from Reckon

HI @ChrisW1

If you haven’t already done so, it might be worth reaching out to Convert2MYOB, a partner who offers a conversion service from other accounting software to MYOB AccountRight and MYOB Essentials.

Alternatively if you were looking to do it manually the simplest option would be to pick a date and bring across the balances and open transactions across into the new file

Regards,
Neil

Re: Migration from Reckon

Thanks Neil!

Unfortunately, Convert 2 MYOB only converts Xeror or Quickbooks files so it won't apply for Pheonix.

The new files will most likely start in the new financial year.

Thanks for your help.
