What’s different in multi-currency in AccountRight 2018.4.1 to v19?

We haven’t just replicated multi-currency from v19, which means that multi-currency is easier to set up and use.

Some changes you might notice:

  • The way exchange rates are displayed match those published in media i.e. inverse of v19
  • Multiple currencies now supported on one supplier card, no need for a separate supplier card for each currency you deal in for that supplier.
  • No currency setup required, other than setting the rate (No need to set up trade creditor/debtor account, exchange account, etc)
  • At the moment you can only create foreign accounts of type Bank (foreign credit cards are not supported yet)
  • Only AUD and NZD base currencies are supported in ARL
  • Currently we display all currencies, but plan to allow a preferred list.
