Annual Leave entitlement - shift work

Hi There

We have a client that uses MYOB Payroll.  They have employees on 12 hour shifts on varied rosters eg 4 days on, 4 days off (plus overtime).  To ensure that the entitlement of Annual Leave is calculated correctly, what hours does the client enter in the Annual Leave TAB?

Thanks

Re: Annual Leave entitlement - shift work

Hi there,

NZ Payroll is not really aimed at managing shifts etc - Exo Payroll does that better. However the annual entitlement would be 4 weeks x their normal hours per week. This might need to be averaged over a month to work out what that is. eg; if they averaged 48 hours per week, then the annual entitlement would be 192.00
