Hi there,
We have a staff member who's Holiday pay increases each week but his annual leave due in hours does not increase.
His holiday pay due on our system is showing just under $5000 yet his annual leave due is -171.44 hours.
I need to be able to fix this so his payslips make sense to him as I can't explain it to him and I cant really understand it himself.
At the end of September last year we owed him 14 days of annual leave which he has not taken
Any ideas/help would be geatly appreciated
Thank you

Hi @hillbillys3,
The annual leave will only increase/change at the anniversary roll over which updates Hol Pay and turns it into annual leave. You can always see what is accrued in advance - technically annual leave is due until the 12 months have passed.
As long as you have normal hours per day and normal days per week set up in the leave details screen, then annual leave will update correctly. This creates the entitlement. If it has not for some reason, then you need to adjust the annual leave owing balance.
Having a negative annual leave balance alludes to the fact that maybe the entitlement is not there. and the negative is just all the annual leave your employee has taken over the time employed.
If this is the case, then you will need to go back and calculate what entitlements have come through and correct the annual leave balance, then the 8% of gross earnings should be corrected as well.
