Hi there
I am very new to using Essentials Payroll, and I am about to set up a new casual employee and need to pay 8% holiday pay with each pay.
I can't seem to find how to do this. Can someone help me please?
I have tried to look at the Help pages, but just seem to go around in circles.

Don't put in normal hours/day or days per week (Put 0 if you have to)
Then it shoudl revert to casual on the Leave Tab.

So, am I able to show the hourly rate being paid AND the 8% as a separate rate/figure?
Can I just add the 8% as a "pay item"?

You have to show them seprately by law - the system will do that for you.
You don't need to add a pay item for it.
