Student Loan Special Deduction rate - MYOB Payroll NZ (desktop version)

Hi,

We have been issued a letter from the IRD to reduce an employee's student loan rate to 0% for a period of time; however, must keep his tax code rate at MSL.

Can someone please explain to me how to set this up?

Hi @KaliPPS 

On the employment details there is a box for Speical SL Rate - type a 0 into the box (even though it already says this) - this then doesnt deduct student loan

**bleep** - still not working. I tried 0 then tab, 0.00 then tab; however, still deducts SL?

What about if i remove the '1'  under 'quantity' on the pay defaults screen?
