Annual salary shown on payslips for Casual staff

I have recently been upgraded to the new version of MYOB essentials payroll. All my staff are casuals paid hourly plus penalty rates. Even though I set casual It shows annual salary on the pay slips which is clealry an incorrect figure as the hours change weekly. I have tried to set hours in a pay cycle to zero but it no longer allows this option. Is there a way to remove the annual salary section from payslips?

Re: Annual salary shown on payslips for Casual staff

Hi @MattE

Thanks for your post.

MYOB Essentials will show the annual salary listed from the Wages section of the employee record on the payslips. This particular record is currently not able to be removed from the payslips at this time. If you do want this changed in a future update, I suggest voting for this idea on our Ideas Board: MYOB Essentials: Payslips

Kind regards,
Yanike

Thank you Yanike,

I believe this oversight should be corrected without the need to vote for it however I thank you for your prompt response.
