Unable to chnage Salary amount ( New MYOB Essential)

Trying to change employees wage amount in Salary and wages section in Payroll dtetails.

 

but receive  Error message " Common Rules Uper Case Required "  and unable to Save the new salary figure.  

 

Please tell me how to fix the issue.

That particular message is something that we have seen in a few cases of migration and are currently tracking. 

 

If you are encountering this message the recommendation would be to navigate to the employee's record -- Payroll>>Employees>>Select the employee. Within the Payment Details section, you want to ensure that if the payment method is set to Electronic that you have entered the required bank account information in. For any text-based fields in that window enter these with Capitals. Once you have updated that payment information do save the employee record.

 

If, of course, the employee is not paid electronically (or wishes to be) then set the payment method to be Cash or Cheque.
