User Access - No function to 'resend' invitation email

As an administrator I am trying to give my new accountant access to my file. I have added his name, email address and checked the box for his privelages and sent him the email. He got the email link however it has not allowed him the access I need him to have. (Said it was cancelled at his end?)

 

I want to resend a fresh link to him however it appears this isnt possible. Error message "There is already a user with this email. Enter a different email" 

 

Further; He suggested I go to the following; 'manage user access via my.myob' I have yet another error message "sorry you cannot access this page because you are not an Account Right Live administrator on this account" (Im using essentials not account right) 

 

I have 'chatted MYOB' on this error - was told a call back within 72hours. A week later NOTHING!

Have also called and the lady I spoke with was absolutely useless and I could not understand her english.

 

NOTE: I thought I would think outside the box and send a link to one of my email addresses that does not have any prior affiliation with my MYOB accounts or logins and I didnt even get an 'invitation' email. I tried to send it again however got the "There is already a user with this email. Enter a different email address" error message..  **so frustrating ** 

 

Really need an answer as this is preventing me complying with my BAS obligations with the Australian Tax Office.

Hi @FrustratedUser1 

Sorry to hear you had that experience. Can you please send us the following details by Private Message so we can check what's causing this:

 

  • Product serial number and company file ID
  • Your email address
  • Your accountant's email address

Update: Issue fixed by resending the invite^KS
