Employee(s) are missing from the Payroll Reporting Centre

Hi Everyone

During your end of payroll year process, you want to ensure that all employees that you have processed pays in the current payroll are appearing in the Payroll Reporting Centre. This is so you can complete the End of year finalisation with Single Touch Payroll reporting tasks: AccountRight | MYOB Essentials.


  • Only employees processed with pays in the current payroll year will be listed in the Payroll Reporting Centre. So make sure that you've recorded a pay for that employee with a payment date that falls in the date range 01/07/2019 -30/06/2020 (current payroll year). To check this:

In AccountRight - Run the Payroll Detail Summary report - Reports>>Payroll>>Employee>>Payroll Detail Summary
In MYOB Essentials  - Run the Payroll Summary or Detailed - Reports>>Payroll>Payroll Summary or Details


  • (AccountRight only) - The Payroll Reporting Centre will show employees that have an employment basis of Individual or Labour set on their card. You can check what basis an employee's card is set to by navigating to the employee's card within the Card File>>Select Payroll Details and viewing the Employment Basis field in the Personal Details.

If you've checked these things and an employee still isn't showing, record a $0 (zero dollar) pay for the employee.
