STP not automatically lodged

Hey folks


I have not been able to locate clarification on these questions via Help and the phone queue is horrendous!


Two queries:

  1. it appears that we need to get our admin assistant ATO authorisation to lodge the STP otherwise, she just gets constant reminders to declare and lodge - can we turn off this series of messages?
  2. why do we need to lodge STP as a report for each individual employee? surely this cannot be the case for larger employers?
