Single Touch Payroll

The way MYOB implements STP is simply WRONG.  There needs to be a gap between processing payroll and reporting to ATO.  From time to time payroll is NOT processed correctly and needs to be amended.  With existing regime EVERY change is reported to ATO.  It would be far better to process payroll then.... have an option DO you want to report STP NOW -- or Later? Far more efficient.

Can't beleive this!!!

Re: Single Touch Payroll

Hey @bandcs,

Thanks for the post.

You should see the below window to prompt you to sent the payroll to the ATO when processing the payrun. If you do not wish to send it at this stage of the payrun, you can always click 'cancel' and then send the information later. I am linking you to a help article on how to do so- Send Single Touch Payroll reports after processing payroll.

I hope this helps if you are wanting to send the report later. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
