Retail Manager Import Error 19 - Unblanced Transaction

I was unable to import a txt file from Retail Manager due to error 19 on all transactions. I looked at the file in Excel and debits and credits seem to match so I am unable to find the source of the problem. Expert help appreciated!

Generally speaking, an unbalanced transaction error when importing does usually mean that the information contained within the import file does not balance. This can happen if the import file has been modified or if the tax calculation on the import file does not match up with the figures.


If you were encountering the error when importing, you could get around it by entering in the transaction as a journal entry inside the AccountRight file. As this is being keyed into the file and not imported, any issues coming about specifically as a result of the importing would be overcome.
