Hello, for the "umpteenth" time on this subject.
I am STILL unable to finalise the 2022-23 STP payroll.
Employee pays prepared in AccountRight, and lodged to STP2, up to and including the actual calender date of 30-06-23 were successfully updated to STP2.
However, employee pays prepared for the last weeks of June, with all dates (including the payment date) showing June dates, but physically processed in July, do NOT update to STP2 for the 2022-23 year. In answer to your question, "did they update to 2023-24?", no they didn't.
So far as STP is concerned they just don't exist!
So, the employee cannot lodge their annual tax return, and I cannot roll payroll into 2023-24.
