Spend Money: Convert recorded transactions to Pay Bills

Previously when you had an existing spend money transaction you could go back in and then decide to pay a bill.  After entering the suppliers name it would give you the option to go directly through to pay bills.  This is now only a warning and you have to delete the spend money and go into pay bills manaully to enter it again.  Very time consuming and allows for error.

The pay bills optiuon is available on new spend money transactions - why cant it be available on existing ones?

Thank you for your feedback. The option to go straight to Pay Bills when you select a Supplier Card does pop up in the current version of AccountRight (2013.3). By existing transactions do you mean Spend Money Transactions that have already been recorded and saved previously that you want to convert into Pay Bills after the fact?
  • yes I do mean existing transactions and this was a feature in the pre-cloud software

  • Hi Kim, thank you for the confirmation.

Could you please let me know what version and program you're referring to for this? Checking in our classic software, v18 and  v19, this does not appear to be a feature available on Spend Money transactions.

    Kind Regards,
    Matthew - MYOB

  • Hi Kim,

In v19 if you select a supplier card from an already recorded spend money transaction, it does come with an option asking if you would like to record it through pay bills however this doesn't delete your existing spend money transaction.  In our latest 2013 versions you are now given a warning as per below instead of the option to open a Pay bills Window.
