How to process Unused annual leave on redundancy

Hi All,

I am trying to process the unused annual leave on redundancy and having trouble to link with annual leave accrual. I am getting error message as "EntitlementPayrollCategory_ExemptionsNotHourlyWages" when I tried to link wages category. Does anyone know why is this happening.

Also, another quick question, Genuine redundancy is processed as normal wages but tax rate is 32%. Is this correct?

Hi @Sabin 

 

Thanks for your post. Can you verify which software you are using? I see its in the AccountRight board but want to check since the linked email looks like it might be on Essentials. 

 

Can you clarify what you are trying to do? Are you creating a redundancy payment or cashing out annual leave? Processing a final pay? You can go to the help article Viewing an employee's entitlement balance to fix an employees leave balance if needed. 

 

The error message is occuring in the setup of the category. The leave and entitlements can clarify some of this. 

 

As per the tax rate, that would be a question for your tax advisor or accountant as we are not able to provide this due to compliance laws.
