RE: Incorrect Payslip Entered In MYOB

Hi

I have entered a payslip in MYOB incorrectly however the employee was paid correctly.  I entered the PAYG as $38.46 instead of Super $38.46.  How do I fix this as it has been reported through STP.

Thanks

Re: RE: Incorrect Payslip Entered In MYOB

Hi @FAW

Thank you for your post. If the employee was paid correctly, and you just need to fix it on AccountRight you could reverse the pay.

To do this:

  1. Ensure the Transactions CAN'T be Changed, They Must be Reversed preference is selected.
  2. Open the pay to be reversed.
  3. Go to the Edit menu and choose Reverse Transaction.
  4. Click OK to the confirmation messages.
  5. Click Record to process the reversal.
  6. Enter the name of the Authorised sender to send it through to the Reporting Centre.
  7. Re-enter the pay with the correct figures.

This Help Article has detailed steps on the above process in case you get stuck: Reversing a transaction.
