I have a new staff member, whose first payslip doesn't show leave entitlements accruing for either annual leave or sick leave. Both are checked in her card file and selected to show in her payslip. Compassionate leave is also selected for both and has hours accrued, but does not show on her payslip either.
Please let me know what I have/haven't done to bring this to bear, or if it is a glitch.

Thanks for your post. Payroll Categories won't appear on payslips until they have been used in the current payroll year. So if those entitlements don't have a YTD amount in the employee card, the balances won't be on the payslip. If you do want the entitlements to appear prior to them being used you can process a pay for that employee. Remove all other amounts and hours, then enter one hour in the entitlement categories. Once that is processed you reverse that pay. This will add a value to the YTD amount in the employee card, then remove it but there will be a record of the entitlement for the current payroll year.
