Inventory

Hello

 

Can anyone suggest a way in account right for a hire and rental company to record and track inventory in and out?  

 

Client wants to be able to look in MYOB and see where hire gear is, return due date, what is in stock to hire, etc.

 

My limited understanding of inventory is that you can purchase stock, receive it, sell it, and look how much you have.  

 

How would you then return stock to inventory to resell / rehire without raising a supplier invoice or purchase return?

 

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
