2022.4 Add-on connector problems

I have an add-on- solution. Works fine for AR files prior to 2022.4.

After updating a file recently to 2022.4 I am getting "commununication errors" reported.

Seen this in my development environment and on cutomer site.

Are there any known issues for aad-on solutions for 2022.4?

hmmm...this does not inspire confidence. Does it give you any other info besides "comm exception"...can you debug? stack trace?

 

There is a log location here (I think) C:\Program Files (x86)\MYOB\API\2.0.2022.3\logs - maybe check that for clues? 

 

Not sure if the location will be the same in 2022.4

 

is it intermittent or happens every time?

THanks for your response.

I have now uninstalled all old versions of AccountRight and the existing Addon connector, installed fresh version of AccountRight 2022.4 and add-on connector frmo downloads page, (Software Downloads | MYOB Australia) and all working now.

I think my Add-on connector may have been from an earlier version and it did not recognise the new file version.
