we are looking at MYOB add-on for timesheets for our employees, but we have contractors that we also pay through the purchasing section in MYOB.
Can the timesheet section be use for contractors too and would we be able to still apply GST if they are caliming it?

The Timesheets feature in AccountRight only feeds into the Payroll section and not to the purchases section. So although you could enter in the hours worked on a timesheet, you would still need to enter in the bill provided by the contractor and recording this bill would be where any GST could be recorded.
If you had recorded the hours of the contractor on a timesheet then if you were paying the superannuation for the contractor you may encounter issues on the payslip as the hours entered into the timesheet will flow though onto the payslip.
