Unable to process payroll for July 2021

Can someone please check why I cannot start processing payroll for July 2021.  All STP has been finalised and updated with the ATO.  Serial No. ends in 3239

    Hi VivR 

     

    Can you try that process again? We've re-run another script over the file that should aid in that process.

    If you are still encountering the situation can you ensure that your employee cards have the following data added:

    • Address information in the Profile tab of the cards including Suburb, State, Postcode and Country
    • Tax file number 
    • A start date 

    If those values are being entered, can you expand upon what is being changed when you are encountering that message and the process you are doing to achieve that.

      Hi,

       

      I have problem processing my July payroll.  

      The error message seems to be "item with the same key has already been added"

      It's a offline company file.  I'm not sure whether I have Active AccountRight Live Subscription.

      I got another company that had no problem processing the July payroll.

      Serial number ending 7324

        Hi LaBella 

         

        Thanks for providing that information. I've had a look at your account and you do have an active subscription so can put that company file online. This help article, Put your company file online, will guide you through the process.

         

        Once your file is online you should be able to process those pays in the new year.

      Thank you Steven_M  however now I am having issues with updating payroll categories in particular Entitlements.  MYOB keeps wanting to restart.  I attach the error that pops ups.  Can you please take a look and let me know how to fix?

        Hi VivR 


        Looking at the error log you have supplied it seems to indicate a potential issue with the calculation basis of that entitlement category you are updating.

         

        My recommendation would be to attempt the following:

        1. Take a backup of the file - File>>Backup.
        2. Once that backup has been completed, navigate to Payroll>>Payroll categories.
        3. Select Entitlements.
        4. Take note of the calculation basis that is set.
        5. Select a different calculation basis
        6. Set the calculation basis to be a required one with the appropriate values entered.

        The above process should, in theory, refresh the entitlement category allowing those changes.
