Disable STP - unable to have file in the cloud

We are unable to put our file in the cloud to comply with STP Phase 2, so we will need to use an external party to do our reporting.

We will still be using MYOB for our payroll, just not the STP reporting function.

How do I disable STP reporting in MYOB so the figures are not doubled up to the ATO?

The figures won't be doubled up unless you keep sending (or 'declaring') the data to the ATO via both MYOB and the external software.

Most external software has the facility to 'migrate' all of the STP data previously reported via MYOB. Some external software such as STP Creator also allows you to turn off the need to sign in to MYOB's Payroll Reporting centre each time you process payroll. If you are using other software, getting MYOB to disable this for you will prevent the need to sign in to MYOB's Reporting centre, so this is preferable. However there is no risk of duplication provided you don't 'declare' via MYOB's Reporting centre.
